Usually, coconut meat becomes coconut dry after drying, and coconut oil is extracted from coconut dry. Fresh coconut meat contains 30%-40% oil and 50% water, while the dried coconut contains 60%-70% oil and 4%-7% water. Coconut oil has a special aroma. In 2000, the world’s coconut oil production was 3.31 million tons. The Philippines is the world’s largest supplier of coconut oil, followed by Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea.

Dry processing: including mechanical extraction of oil from a crusher or screw press using coconut dry as raw material. Mechanical oil extraction is supplemented by a second extraction with a solvent to recover the residual oil in the paste.
Mechanical oil extraction process: transport coconut dry with a water content of 10%-12% to an automatic scale to remove broken iron through a magnetic chamber, grind into particles with a diameter of about 0.3cm, press the particles into thin slices to expand the surface of coconut dry oil.

The material is steamed and fried in a horizontal steaming pan at 115℃ for 20 minutes. Under this condition, due to the rupture of fat cells and the precipitation of phospholipids, the moisture content is reduced to 3%. The steamed and fried material of the same size is sent to the oil press to continuously squeeze out the oil.
